It's been ten years since theHotel Seven opened its doors in the 5th arrondissement, a stone's throw from the famous rue Mouffetard, welcoming tourists, Parisians on the prowl and lovers in love.
In the autumn of 2021, under the aegis of the Elegancia group, the boutique-hotel unveils a new face with a charming decor, created with taste and finesse, while retaining its original DNA of romance and privacy.
Behind its handsome Haussmann façade and deep-green storefront, the discreet Seven Hôtel offers itself to you, starting with a common room that invites you to relax. Shelves loaded withbooks on cinema, music and art, sofas as comfortable as they are colorful, plants here and there, a large designer table and small relaxation nooks to curl up in, not forgetting the discreet planted patio which, on sunny days, welcomes travelers; everything seems done to make you feel at home, as if in a cocoon.
Once you've checked in on your tablet, it's time to discover your suite. In addition to the 28 rooms spread over 6 floors, the Seven Hôtel boasts 7 themed suites, which were a hit when the hotel opened ten years ago. The 7 suites have also been given a makeover, and offer travelers 7 stories as unique experiences to be had within the hotel.
Attracted by movie sets and glitter? Choose the 7th Art suite and be the actor of your own life. For a world tour without leaving Paris, the 7th World suite is for you, with its travel trunks and wild prints. Looking for a spiritual experience? The 7th Chakra suite, a haven of peace filled with soft cushions, will reconnect you with yourself.
Music lovers, meanwhile, will find their bliss in suite 7e note, under the watchful eye of Prince and David Bowie, listening to vinyl comfortably ensconced in a vintage sofa; while dreamers will find all the tranquility they need for their well-being in suite 7e jour. And while some may opt for the 7e Ciel suite, with its sensual starlit bed, we discover the suite we've chosen: the 7e péché suite.
In shades of powder pink and beige, this large50m2 suite invites you to indulge in both delights and vices, with its giant round bed, its bathtub topped by a pink neon light, an ode to femininity, its velvet cushions, its thread curtains that dance along the walls, and its soft shag carpet on which it's good to walk barefoot. On the wall are posters by Helmut Newton, and on the coffee table is a book on pin-up girls, to be consulted from the comfort of a rattan seat that looks like it's straight out of the 70s. Glamour and sensuality are the order of the day.
But the surprise of this suite lies outside. Open the French windows to discover a small, intimate patio, then turn left to discover, in a pretty jungle of plants, a private spa dedicated solely to your well-being- you're not dreaming!
Luxury, calm and voluptuousness were the watchwords of our evening in the 7th Péché suite. After enjoying the spa to our heart's content, we curled up with delight in this round bed with exemplary bedding for a restorative night's sleep.
Early in the morning, a buffet breakfast awaited us in the common room. On the menu were viennoiseries, soft-boiled eggs, cheeses, cold meats, fruit salad, madeleines, fresh fruit juices and hot beverages - the perfect way to leave the Seven Hôtel with stars in your eyes and your mouth full.
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
