Did you catch the hint about Vuitton? For some time now, rumors have been circulating along the Champs-Élysées that Louis Vuitton was working on its first hotel. Well, that fantasy became reality on September 28, 2023, when the Paris departmental commercial development commission approved the extravagant project by the famous luxury brand. The targeted location: 103-111 avenue des Champs-Élysées, with an expected opening in 2026. In other words, the iconic LV trunk will soon be turning into a luxury hotel!
Reopenings, future projects, the next big things to come in Paris and the Île-de-France region

The setting? An art deco building with a rich history, originally constructed by the Wagons-Lits Company for the 1900 World's Fair. It later served as HSBC's Paris headquarters for twenty years. After a giant Dior billboard suggested a new flagship, it’s actually Louis Vuitton that is about to settle in, with the first location of its new hotel complex, designed by the Franco-Uruguayan architecture firm Barthélémy Griño, based in Paris.
When it comes to amenities, luxury is still more of a whisper than a certainty, but it already sparks the imagination. Spanning over 6,000 m2, the building could combine retail spaces, exhibition halls, and immersive experiences. The hotel might feature around ten high-end suites offering postcard-worthy views of Paris, along with a prestigious restaurant and a XXL spa. However, at this stage, these details remain purely speculative.
After making its mark in gastronomy and exhibitions, Louis Vuitton is now set to redefine the art of living by opening the brand's very first hotel. Stay tuned… the luggage is packed!
