Hôtel de Buci: an intimate cocoon in the heart of Saint-Germain des Prés

Located in one of the oldest streets in Paris, theHôtel de Buci has undergone a complete makeover and unveils its brand new spa. An intimate cocoon with a refined decor, the Hôtel de Buci is the perfect place to recharge your batteries and escape the hustle and bustle of Paris.

On the first floor of theHôtel de Buci, the brown oak parquet floor, the rounded shapes of the contemporary bookcase and the sofa by Philippe Hurel, immediately set the tone. It's like entering a warm and welcoming Parisian home. If you continue on your way, you arrive at the Jardin d'Hiver, brightly lit thanks to the glass roof. You can sit comfortably underneath for a gourmet breakfast , tea or cocktail. Alcoves and tables set in small corners of the room or behind plants reinforce this intimate feel. The uncluttered decor and central island are reminiscent of a grand hotel kitchen.

The hotel has 19 rooms and 5 suites, decorated with 18th-century-inspired furnishings. The rooms are warm and cosy, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The walls are adorned with black-and-white photographs by Patricia Khan, perfectly matching the rest of the decor. Six rooms have been refurbished with new drapes in shades of emerald, black and gold.

Are you tired at the end of the day, or do you want to get your day off to a good start? The hotel's new spa is for you. In the hotel's basement, you'll find the new wellness area, featuring a pool, sauna and massage room. The spa can be fully privatized. The spa's walls are clad in waxed concrete and custom-made Zellige earthenware with a contemporary geometry, and the ceiling is made of a mixture of aluminum foil and gold leaf, worked by a decorative painter. The beige colors and the prevailing atmosphere immediately soothe us as we enter this space, a real bubble of well-being!

On the skincare side, you can choose from classic skincare products, as well as signature products from Absolution. A cosmetics brand whose products are certified organic, unisex and Made In France. We were able to test an express facial with Absolution products, which we highly recommend for cleansing and brightening your skin.
