Every autumn brings its share of new openings in Paris, and l'hôtellerie is no exception: after the summer break, several properties are gearing up to throw open their doors in the capital. There will be new hotels, but also major renovations or novel concepts that enrich a sector that’s continually evolving.
The projects unveiled for the coming months reflect a shared aim: to deliver more personalised experiences. The large hotels now sit alongside boutique hotels with smaller capacities, where the emphasis is on comfort, design and a more residential atmosphere. The goal is to create places where travelers feel at home, while enjoying the services of a premium property.
Interior architecture is taking an ever more central role. The new openings lean on natural materials, carefully crafted light, warmer spaces and decor conceived down to the last detail. Far from uniform standards, each property seeks to develop its own identity by drawing on its neighborhood, its history and the Parisian art of living.
And then there are these hotels that no longer cater solely to travelers! Many are developing spaces open to the capital’s residents, with restaurants, bars, rooftops, spas, becoming real social hubs where you can grab lunch, have a drink, or enjoy a moment of relaxation without necessarily staying there.
A quick snapshot of what awaits travelers as we head into the September 2026 peak season!
