Poggi Cup: the affordable street-food eatery indulging Paris 13th arrondissement

Looking for an affordable eatery in the 13^th arrondissement of Paris? Here is a mouthwatering spot you need to discover now if you love tasty flavors. Poggi Cup is the concept serving street food 2.0 based on seasonal ingredients for a very soft price. A bargain for students and those who want to discover a restaurant providing a great quality-price ratio.

The Poggi Cup universe – created by Sébastien Poggi who also owned the restaurant l'Hommage – is very colorful, like the merry team working there. This concept – especially designed for tight budgets – is the proof one can eat well for cheap in Paris. One will discover dishes in a cup with layers so they can discover the different flavors and textures of the recipe. This format allows to adapt recipes more easily to diets and allergies. Since everything is homemade, the composition of cups is controlled which enables flexibility.

In concrete words, what does one eat, then? The menu is made in order to satisfy all cravings. When we came this spring, there were 2 hot recipes, and three cold recipes. The best-seller being the Poggi Classic, a low-cost cup, based on parmesan crumble, compote onions, smoked bacon, candied potato, bacon mousse, Emmental cheese sprinkled with crispy onions. Mouthwatering, is it not?

We also went for a vegan recipe, the Spring, based on tabbouleh, chickpeas, asparagus, pickled onions, hummus mousse and croutons. Flavorsome, this cup was very tasty and fresh. Everything is prepared to order, in front of you, and you can feel it.

What we love with this concept is the cups are hearty enough to satisfy big cravings as they can be easily carried around and if you have a smaller appetite, you can keep it and have it later.

But make sure you keep some room for dessert! Fruity flavor fans will not miss the Poggi Fraise based on Breton shortbread, basil-flavored strawberry compote, chopped fresh strawberries, almond whipped cream and covered in finely chopped basil. We are drooling!

Another staple is the Poggi Cup style revisited tiramisu! Of course, it features the coffee-soaked finger cakes, the chocolate-coffee cream, the mascarpone foam and the cocoa powder. But this version also features some crunchy praline (and homemade, obviously), which was very indulging. We understand why it faces such as big success.
