Golden Promise is aptly named. It’s the promise of a delightful evening with your friends and whisky connoisseurs. But to put your finger on this Eldorado, granted that you find this treasure. Because yes, it’s a very well-kept secret. At least so far! This speakeasy whisky bar is very-well hidden in Paris. The beginning of an immersion into the prohibition era. The starting point? La Maison du Saké in Paris. Watch out for a second train, that’s what we say, right. What a clever hiding place!
This is how La Maison du Saké contains the secret den of Maison du Whisky at its heart. Golden Promise is set in the basement. It evolves around 5 areas in which align bottles of this amber-colored spirit. Each and every one of them represents a world region where the whisky comes from. And since it’s Maison du Whisky that’s behind the project, we can be sure that the selection of these some 1000 references has been thoroughly made. Scotland, Japan and even Taïwan, these exceptional spirits are the promise of a true journey across the globe.
They deserve a tasting area worthy of them. And it’s a good think since we discover a 210-sqm lounge where you can enjoy a glass of whisky. Dry or mixed for a cocktail, close your eyes and trust the bar manager François Pirious. I’ve told you, it’s a golden promise!
