GCD Montmartre is the new gem in Paris 18th arrondissement. A natural wine bar with delicious snacks, nice patrons and a top boss, definitely our go-to!

It’s so good to give in to temptation! At GCD Montmartre, the new natural wine bar in Paris 18th arrondissement, let’s enjoy wonderful bottles and delicious dishes. It’s the boss, Sébastien, who welcomes us. The bar recently opened in the lovely rue Durantin and the neighborhood has been super excited.

GCD stands for French “J’ai cédé” (I gave in to) because the only way to get rid off a temptation… is to give in to it. We feel at ease in this beautiful place displaying an elegant decorum including grey marbled tables, exposed stone walls, a lovely blue wall and small crates revisited in shelves.

On the menu, only produces selected with love. Natural wines, yes, as well as delicious cold cut and cheese boards, as well as exquisite vegetables such as beetroot or Japanese eggplant. Honorable mention to the beef carpaccio, so fine and flavorful that it could even make a vegan drool!

And as for the entertainment, on Sunday nights from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., It’s Jazz and Wine with musicians coming to play live. For a short while, artists display their works so does Delphine Courtois – the first one to inaugurate GCD Montmartre with heir paintings of cute characters reminding us of the illustrations of ancient child books.

So, meet quick at GCD to give in to everything you want!
