Did you know that Pierre Hermé was making a yule log for le Royal Monceau every year? Pastry World Champion, Pierre Hermé has been the consultant chef for the Parisian palace for a few years and creates signature desserts for Le Royal Monceau restaurants.
For this Christmas 2019, Pierre Hermé presents the Agapé yule log, an incredible yule log shaped like a Ferris Wheel celebrating 10 years of tasty work with Le Royal Monceau.
The yule long includes gondolas and a wheel entirely made of chocolate and filled with macarons, nougats, chocolate bonbons and caramels. And just turn the handle and see how the wheel is moving!
This winter-inspired yule log is based on gingerbread with lemon and Christmas fruits – oranges, prunes, morello cherries, ginger, figs, candied apricots, pistachios and roasted almonds. The lemon mousseline and lemon jelly bring some pep to the whole.
This exceptional yule log for 8 is available to order from December 13 to 25, 2019 for €250 (delivery within Paris included).
