For the Holidays 2019, Maison Lenôtre unveils its collection focusing on the forest and created by Guy Krenzer. You have a magnificent and delicious yule log shaped like… a genuine log!

Every year, Maison Lenôtre works twice as hard to delight and surprise your taste buds for the Holidays.

This year again, Chef Guy Krenzer and his team worked hard to propose this “Bûche de Bois et pomme de pincollection.

And the outcome is aesthetically and gustatorily mind-blowing. This signature yule log 2019 by Maison Lenôtre is a true invitation to take a walk in the forest.

This charming yule log-log is made of rolled chocolate cake, crispy pine nut and hazelnut praline, slightly runny when we slice the cake, and chocolate parfait with brown sugar.

The log is then wrapped in a fragile chocolate bark. The fir cone and the chocolate needles complete this magnificent décor.

As per usual, Olivier Poussier – World’s Best Sommelier 2000 and Maison Lenôtre Sommelier – delivers us his words of advice to enjoy this yule log. This year, you’re recommended to enjoy it along with some Rivesaltes Ambré du Domaine de Rancy 1998 Verdaguer (organic).

And for even more greed, Maison Lenôtre also provides two other yule logs 2019 to please everyone.

The “Palais des Glaces” yule log is based on pear sorbet, chestnut ice cream and chestnut heart with candied chestnuts chunks, the whole coated with a fine layer or marzipan lace.

The “Noël sous la neige” yule log is based on light dark chocolate cream, milk parfait heart and thin crispy mix, the whole covered in a tasty marshmallow coat.
