Discovering the magic and luxury of the Victorian architecture just a stone’s throw from Disneyland Paris… This is what offers Disneyland Hotel set at the entrance of the Parisian theme park. And in this instance, you can’t be closer since the 5-star hotel overlooks the admission and the ticketing office of the theme park, featuring incredible views on Main Street and Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. All in all, the hotel includes 496 charming rooms and 18 suites as well as an exclusive floor, the Castle Club with 41 Club rooms.
The hotel will get a major makeover and a very royal one... And for good reason: Disneyland Paris announced this Wednesday April 28 they are launching a redesign of the bedrooms and common spaces on this theme, to pay tribute to Disney princesses and princes - very elegant and modern. Places redesigned to pay tribute to our childhood movies such as Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and even Frozen and Rapunzel, while the bedrooms and suites will get a sophisticated and creative decoration with baroque touches to provide visitors with a very immersive experience. Yet, façades will stay in Victorian style.
“At Disneyland Paris, we create enchanting experiences for all ages,” says Sylvie Massara, Walt Disney Imagineering Paris – Design and Show Quality. “The completely refurbished Disneyland Hotel will do just that, immersing guests in a timeless royal atmosphere. Guests will be welcomed with unique refinement as soon as they enter the lobby and will stay in rooms and suites with elegant décor celebrating Disney Princesses and Princes."
Extra care will be taken as well - and especially - of bedroom equipments and the layout of public spaces for an improved and custom welcome. The swimming pool area will be entirely refurbished, so will the spa that will be increased, as well as the bar and the restaurant of the hotel that will be fully redesigned. "When it reopens, Disneyland Hotel will offer to our guests an enhanced experience even more worthy of the prestigious French five-star hotel rating," adds Tomás Feier, General Manager of the Disneyland Hotel.
He goes on: "We are proud to welcome a lot of repeat visitors at our iconic hotel, and we want them to be immersed in a 360-degree experience using the power of beloved Disney fairytales, with an array of brave and kind heroines as a central theme. Our loyal guests expect to be enchanted and surprised by their stay each time they visit us, and we take pride in delivering impeccable service to create memorable moments. A full Disneyland Paris experience can truly be achieved only when staying in one of our themed hotels, and we cannot wait to welcome guests to the Disneyland Hotel after its transformation. "
Moving on to bedrooms, excluding this new fully thought over desig, they will feature a big bed or two double beds, a mini bar, a bathroom with a bathtub, as well as a TV with Disney channels and international channels. The hotel also features several superior rooms able to accommodate up to four guests and set in the wings of the hotel, as well as superior family rooms (fours adults and one child), rooms for person with reduced mobility, all fitted, as well as suites.
Among the options available, an indoor swimming pool, a jacuzzi as well as a fitness center with sauna and hammam are offered to the hotel guests. Disneyland Hotel also houses a high-range spa, the Celestia Spa, where guests can enjoy a whole range of exclusive cares for an unparalleled experience of wellness, relaxation and most of all, pleasure.
As for the services, they are rather classic in this type of top-notch accommodation: concierge service from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., parking valet and porter, room service around the clock, Disney Shopping Service, delivery of your purchases to the hotel and even the Minnie Club, a playroom and break room for children from 4 to 11 years old under the supervision of qualified group leaders. The perfect place to dream and picture ourselves as a prince or princess in “a palace coming straight out of a Disney fairytale”. Shall we book a room, friends?
