Set in rue des Petites Ecuries, Maison Bon is an address as lovely as its founder Chloé – graduated from Ecole Ferrandi – always smiling and every attentive to her clients. The decoration is sober yet elegant, mixing inox and graphic tiles with beautiful hanging lights and a large mirror and stools so you can eat perched.
At breakfast time, lunchtime or dinnertime – on the spot or as takeout – the house offers a range of fresh produce with vitaminized colors, each one more tantalizing than the last. They all are organic, gluten-free and vegetarian and many of them are vegan.
Undoubtedly, Chloé’s recipes and the mix of flavors will almost make us forget about our dry sausages, rib steak and sashimi parties – we gladly exchange against a delicious zucchini risotto with parmesan, pear and kasha grains, a carrot, orange, ginger soup or a subtle quinoa, pomegranate, broccoli, fennel and marinated radishes salad.
Moving on to beverages, Chloé has very tasty iced teas, a lemonade, cold-squeezed fruit juices as well as hot beverages served anytime of the day. For dessert, our heart swings between the cheese cookie and a chia pudding with kiwi slices and granolas, as a supplement, but the second choice gets the better of us.
We leave Maison Bon, the belly full but our heart light – happy to say that the most delicious meals can do without gluten, meat, fish and even animal products.
