La Verrière is the brand new healthy and fresh spot in the 7th district. Bringing together a vegetarian restaurant, an art gallery and a health space (with an osteopathy office, massage and Japanese sauna), La Verrière is a very original place... which will become our HQ!

In France, innovative trends have a bit of a habit of getting knocked down... Vegetarians have a hard time finding restaurants adapted to their desires, patients in need of alternative medicine (such as osteopathy or naturopathy) are deliberately ignored by French legislations, etc. France is really struggling, compared to its European neighbors, to move towards a less consumerist and more respectful appreciation of the world and its inhabitants.

But, let's be reassured, initiatives exist! The proof is in the brand new address in the 7th arrondissement, La Verrière, which we had the opportunity to visit a few days after its opening in September 2014. All in length, entirely white and punctuated by the bright colors of the furniture, the place is zen and well thought out. One spends a calm and very relaxing moment there.

La Verrière offers three possibilities to access well-being:

  • A vegetarian restaurant: with a fresh, vegetarian, and varied menu, La Verrière stands out as an excellent lunchtime address. We loved their buffet: fill your plate with salads, salty cookies and other raw vegetables for 10 euros. La Verrière also offers daily specials and desserts (we thought we'd die of pleasure when we tasted their mirabelle plum cottage cheese), as well as fresh fruit and vegetable juices, teas and coffees.
  • An art gallery: currently unused, the art gallery is located in a large room at the back of the restaurant. Some of the artworks will also be displayed on the restaurant's bright white walls.
  • A health space: today's world, especially in a big city like Paris, is woven with stress and constant annoyances, which take their toll on the body as well as on the mind. Antonino Mercuri, osteopath and author of numerous books, offers you with his associate three types of care: an osteopathy practice, a Japanese sauna (the Iyashi Dome is a kind of soft sauna that provokes a deep sweat for a regeneration of the cells) and the hydromassage by jet, which will relieve your muscles from constant efforts.

Going out in Paris can only invite you to visit this place that only wants you good, located in the heart of the 7th district at 24 avenue de Tourville.
