Want to discover a cuisine made for sharing and savoring in a different way?
In the heart of the Latin Quarter (Paris’s 5th arrondissement), just a stone’s throw from the Panthéon and the Sorbonne, the African restaurant Godjo invites diners to discover Ethiopian cuisine over large dishes designed for sharing. Whether dining with family or friends, the meal revolves around injera and assortments combining meat-based dishes with plant-based options.
The name Godjo evokes a farmer’s hut in Ethiopia: a place of warmth, hospitality and shared meals.
True to this tradition, the restaurant serves generous, convivial food: diners eat with their hands, gathered around large shared platters served on injera, a soft, slightly tangy flatbread typical of Ethiopian cuisine.
Assorted platters let diners sample several dishes on one plate: Doro Wot (spiced chicken stew), leg of lamb, beef stews, or vegan options made with vegetables and lentils, as well as a variety of vegetarian dishes, offering a rich and flavorful mix of Ethiopian specialties.
You can view the full menu and book a table on their website, godjo.paris
To discover new flavors and experience the Ethiopian way of sharing a meal in the heart of Paris, Godjo welcomes you at 8, rue de l’École-Polytechnique, in the Latin Quarter.
