The Cure is a brand-new restaurant in the 9th arrondissement of Paris offering you to eat in accordance with your mood and to correct it if need be. Food can play a major role on your state of mind. We don’t only eat to treat ourselves or to stay in shape but also to recover, be more serene…

Your mood has an effect on what you eat and what you eat has an effect on your mood too! Stéphanie did understand it and decided to open her small restaurant allowing to treat yourself whilst correcting your mood. Joined by a nutritionist, she set up a simple and fresh menu in the mainstream of the FoodMood.

When you feel demoralized, don’t you find recomfort in chocolate and fat food? Actually, that’s not stupid. The molecules in chocolate, in some berries and the food containing fatty acid like Omega-3 have a positive effect on your mood. Yes, yes, it’s scientifically proven. Say good riddance to Prozac and rush to get a chocolate cake at The Cure.

Whether you feel depressed or whacked or if you only feel like boosting your memory, Stéphanie has a menu for you. If you’re tired, you should taste the meal with wheat, chickpea, carrots, onions, zucchinis, peppers, spinach, cashew nuts, hemp seeds, Alfredo sauce served with a chestnut cake. If you feel annoyed, take the dish with pearled barley, whole wheat, chorizo, garlic, tomatoes, lemon served with a chocolate-hazelnut-almond cookie. The effect won’t necessarily be immediate but a week of mood-menu and you’ll be more serene.

And some days, you just don’t care at all, so a RAF menu is available as well. You can treat yourself without thinking.

For the record, everything is homemade and fresh from the day. Menus change according to seasons to adapt to fruits and vegetables of the moment and to our needs. Also, the restaurant offers an excellent vegetable soup, chilled in the summer and hot when it’s cold outside. You can also get a fresh juice squeezed in a juice extractor to keep as much vitamins and nutriments as possible.
