Immediate boarding for Indonesia, thanks to the colorful and tasty dishes of djawa. The chain opens a fifth restaurant on Quai de Valmy, Canal Saint-Martin, offering Indonesian specialties, all available in vegetarian versions!

Fancy a colorful, flavorful dish that sends you to the ends of the earth? djawa, the Indonesian street food brand, is opening a new restaurant that's sure to delight! After République, Montmartre, Miromesnil and Mathurins, djawa has set up shop on the Canal Saint-Martin. With 100 m2 of floor space and a terrace overlooking the canal, djawa Valmy is the biggest of the five.

On the menu, colorful, exotic cuisine made with fresh, quality products, some local, some Indonesian. Lemongrass, galanga, coconut milk, star anise, ginger, java sugar, lemon leaves... By the mere mention of these terms, your nostrils must already be filled with these Indonesian-scented flavors! When processed, these products become delicious, typically Indonesian dishes.

First of all, there are the simmered dishes, served with wheat noodles or rice and steamed vegetables: Rendang beef simmered for 3 hours in coconut milk and 12 spices; chicken curry with coconut milk and lemongrass; chicken satay with creamy peanut sauce; hake back with lemongrass, ginger and tomatoes.

And then there are the wok dishes, served with crunchy vegetables (Nasi Goreng chicken, Mi Goreng chicken, marinated and grilled duck breast, etc.) and super-fresh salad bowls. Most dishes are also available in vegetarian versions, with tofu, fruit of the Jacquier tree and tempeh.

Also on the menu are Indonesian desserts: coconut milk and banana soup, artisanal cookies with pandan leaf, coconut milk panna cotta and fruit coulis, artisanal mango and passion fruit tartlet, and avocado cream with chocolate and coffee.
