Car race fans are expected in movie theaters from November 13, 2019 in France to discover FORD v FERRARI (or Le Mans 66 in French), a movie by James Mangold. We discover the car universe through two fundamentally opposed car makers: Ford and Ferrari.

A clash of titans at Le Mans with two sacred car monsters… This is what James Mangold (Logan…) offers with his upcoming movie FORD v FERRARI, said to be out in France on November 13, 2019. A movie based on a true story telling the ruthless war between Ford and Ferrari at 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966 and the ingenuity of an engineer, Carroll Shelby.

The movie stars – among others – Matt Damon (Suburbicon, Downsizing…), Christian Bale (The Dark Knight Rises, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle…), Caitriona Balfe (Outlander, Money Monster…), Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, The Punisher, The Wolf of Wall Street…) and even Tracy Letts (Lady Bird, Pentagon Papers…) as Henry Ford II, manager of the very eponymous team. The film promises some great actions!


Based on true events, the movie follows an eccentric team of American engineers led by visionary Carroll Shelby and his British driver Ken Miles who are sent by Henry Ford II to build from scratch a new car that has to defeat Ferrari at Le Mans 1966.
