For this Christmas 2017, the Peninsula Paris new pastry chef Dominique Costa offers us a delicious yule log with exotic flavors, a light and rather sour log likely to please the most gourmet eaters after a copious festive dinner!
If you’re not really into traditional logs, too vertical and heavy because of the butter, you might be interested in the Peninsula Paris pastry chef Dominique Costa’s yule log.
For his first Christmas at the helm of the sweet part of Paris Asian palace, the chef came up with a fruity Christmas cake with exotic flavors (mango-grapefruit) very well-presented since it’s hidden under a dim sum basket made of blond chocolate and that can be shared with the guests around the tables at the end of your meal, while having a cup of tea or coffee!
Made of an almond biscuit and topped with a mango and honey compote, and a jasmine tea mousse, this dessert is eaten without any problem, and if the cake is for 10 persons, you should know that 6 gourmets won’t leave a crumb.
This cake can be ordered from December 18, 48 hours prior the dinner so that the chef has enough time to make it especially for you!
