Make the best of the 36th edition of European Heritage Days to discover Auguste Comte's house open on Saturday September 21 and Sunday 22, 2019. Set on rue Monsieur le Prince, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, this museum-apartment hasn't changed a bit since Auguste Comte's death 152 years ago.

Maybe you’ve already read some of his works at school or during your studies, but who is Auguste ComteFather of sociology, this major 19th-century philosopher also developed positivism, “a global project reorganizing the society in its social, political, moral and even religious grounds” like the museum named after him says.

Remembrance place, this apartment invites its visitors to a real travel back in time alongside the philosopher and allows of course to know more about his theories and to understand the ins and outs better. For European Heritage Days 2019, the admission is free of charge and you don’t need a prior registration. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
