Gambling room Paris Club Elysées opens on April 26, 2018. This is the first time since 1920 and the ban on opening gambling rooms 100km around Paris, to prevent disruption of public safety, excluding the one in Enghien-les-Bains located in a thermal zone!
This 2,5000-sqm room, we owe to Groupe Tranchant (16 casinos in France) houses 23 gaming tables accessible every day from 2 p.m. to 6 a.m. Paris Club Elysées welcomes Poker 21 games (a variant of Black Jack), Caribbean Stud Poker, Three Card Poker, Omaha Pot Limit, Ultimate Poker and Texas Hold’Em Poker with tables starting from at least €250, €500 and €1000.
Groupe Tranchant CEO Sébastien Tranchant says to be expecting 300,000 customers the first year. But not everyone can join in Paris Club Elysées. You will have to pay careful attention to your dressing style, be over the age of majority, pay €15 of entry fees and bet more than €20, the very minimum.
The only drawback: no roulette, black-jack, nor slot machines, players will have to do with poker variants, an obligation for the gaming rooms willing to enjoy the trial of the French Assemblée Nationale.
This opening is the first of a long series: 7 or 8 establishments are said to be opening in the upcoming months. Groupe Barrière – that already owns Enghien-les-Bains casino and Fouquet’s on the Champs-Elysées – has already announced they were preparing an application to open the Aviation Club de France, on the 1st floor of 104 avenue des Champs-Elysées. To be continued…
