Who hasn't dreamed of joining Captain Nemo's crew... ? That's exactly what Unleash Escape Game, the escape-room outfit located just steps from the Gare de Bercy, offers you: inviting you to board the ship of the famous captain, straight from the imagination of Jules Verne, author of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas from whom the character hails. Entitled Nautilus, the Aronnax Expedition, the adventure will take you to find the Nautilus and to reach a mysterious island.
In Nautilus: Aronnax Expedition, you lead a crew of explorers hired by Louis Aronnax, the son of the famed professor closely tied to Captain Nemo. After his father's death, he uncovers an annotated manuscript of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea containing a blueprint of the Nautilus and mysterious coordinates pointing to an unknown island. Convinced the legendary submarine is real, he launches an expedition to find it, and you’re part of the team. After a long sea voyage, you finally reach this enigmatic island and set out to explore the Nautilus to uncover its secrets and bring the myth into reality.
The room itself sits at an intermediate level, firmly within the Adventure category (no horror or jumpscares, so no need to worry...). It’s open to players aged 12 and up, with the condition that the group must include at least four adults, and it isn’t accessible to those with reduced mobility. The experience lasts 75 minutes and can be played in French or English, designed for groups of 4 to 6 players. And, as with any adventure of this kind, you’ll need to solve a variety of puzzles to advance and reach the end of the story.
