Marie-Antoinette, the pyrotechnics show at Palace of Versailles Orangerie Gardens

Marie-Antoinette is the incredible show performed in Versailles gardens at nighttime on Friday June 29 and July 5, 6, 11, and 12, 2018. This event is an incredible light and sound show with fireworks, flames, video clips, lit characters for one hour: welcome to the Sun King’s Realm!

After several years of the Fire King, Groupe F offers a new and incredible pyrotechnics show, this time telling Marie-Antoinette’s story, to be discovered on Friday June 29, and in July, on Thursday 5, Friday 6, Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12, 2018 in the Orangerie gardens.

After 3 years of a show devoted to the Sun King, the Palace of Versailles invites us to imagine Marie-Antoinette’s daily life, spouse of Louis XVI and a major character of Versailles history.

Louis XVI quickly entrusts Marie-Antoinette with the Court entertainments, reluctant to the ceremonial compulsory to his function. The queen will then organize play performances twice to three times a week and create a true passion for card games and pool she practices in the Salon de la Paix. This is how she will, years later, meet her presumed lover, Axel Von Fersen.

For this show, Groupe F resorted to crossed flames, fireworks, videos and lit characters and fire carriers. So, we find all the glitz of parties at the French Court but with our current resources.

For one hour, we will discover varied scenes ending on an “unforgettable pyrotechnics finale that only Groupe F knowns how to create”. Brace yourself, you’ll be blown-away!
