To end your week on a high note, treat yourself to a moment of magic: the Louvre Museum will open at night every Friday evening, starting July 1, 2022. The permanent collections and temporary exhibitions of the most beautiful museum in the world await you!

During the week, you are running between work, school, sports class, the supermarket, afterworks... And on weekends, you are overwhelmed with activities and proposals for outings, each more attractive than the last. This doesn't leave you much time to get away.

Fortunately, there are moments suspended in time, little bubbles of happiness that allow you to enjoy yourself and the present moment. Between weekdays and weekends, the Louvre invites you to enjoy its nightly tours.

Every Friday night, starting July 1, the Parisian museum opens its doors to us until 9:45 pm. Book your evening and dive into the infinite collections of this unmissable art place.

On the program of these weekly nights, there are many activities for young and old:

  • Mini-discovery tours:
Offered with admission and without reservation, these tours cover six themes: The beginnings of the Louvre, The Courtyards, The Napoleons, Journey to the Land of Islam, The Great Masters of the North, and Portraits of Kings.

  • Guided tours The Louvre in a different way:
The museum invites you to discover the riches of the Richelieu wing and its little-known masterpieces. This tour is also available in English.

  • Les Promenades:
During 1h30, a guide-lecturer presents an emblematic collection of the museum: French sculptures, art objects of the XVIII th century or French paintings.

With this program, you'll soon know the Louvre like the back of your hand!

Of course, it's also an opportunity to discover or rediscover the Louvre's current exhibitions:
