In your busy week, treat yourself to a moment of magic: the Musée du Louvre opens at night every Wednesday and Friday evening. The permanent collections and temporary exhibitions of the world's most beautiful museum await you!

During the week, you're racing between work, school, the gym, the supermarket, afterworks... And at weekends, you're inundated with activities and proposals for outings, each more attractive than the last. That doesn't leave you much time to get away from it all.

Fortunately, there are moments suspended in time, little bubbles of happiness that allow you to indulge yourself and enjoy the moment. Twice a week, the Louvre invites you to enjoy its nocturnal tours.

Every Wednesday and Friday evening from May 29, 2024, the Paris museum opens its doors until 9pm. Book your evening, and immerse yourself in the infinite collections of this must-see art venue.

These weekly evening events feature a wide range of activities for young and old alike:

Mini-discovery tours:
Offered with the admission ticket and without reservation, these tours cover six themes: The beginnings of the Louvre, Côté cours, The Napoleons, Journey to the land of Islam, The great masters of the North, Portraits of kings.
Le Louvre autrement guided tours:
The museum invites you to discover the riches of the Richelieu wing and its little-known masterpieces. This tour is also available in English.
Les Promenades:
For 1h30, a guide presents an emblematic collection of the museum: French sculptures, 18th-century objets d'art or French paintings.
