Les p'tits fauteuils, children's shows at the Théâtre du Châtelet to see in 2023-2024

Throughout the 2023-2024 school year, from September 2023 to June 2024, Les P'tits fauteuils will offer one show a month, always on a Sunday, for the whole family to enjoy. Concerts, plays, storytelling... your children will finally have the opportunity to come to the theater like grown-ups, with shows adapted to their needs.

From December 2023 to June 2024, the Théâtre du Châtelet will be offering a program for young audiences, suitable for children aged 6 months and over. Throughout the year, you and your family can enjoy a wide selection of concerts, shows and even immersive musical experiences.

Discover the great classics of the theater's musical repertoire, learn to sing at the P'tits fauteuils end-of-year concert, attend your first family opera, your little ones' very first classical concert, and immerse yourself in the magnificent Théâtre du Châtelet at poetic, storytelling and singing shows...

The length of the show is adapted to the age of the target audience: for the youngest, the show lasts no longer than 30 minutes, while for older children, it can last up to an hour.

The Théâtre du Châtelet is one of the capital's largest theaters, located in the heart of the 1st arrondissement. All year round, it offers shows, concerts, musicals, ballets, operas... With internationally renowned directors and artists.

Christmas concert

It's Christmas at the Théâtre du Châtelet with 50 young artists from the Sotto Voce Children's Choir!

Métamorf'ose

Two actress-singers create a dreamlike, offbeat universe in perpetual transformation. They invoke life in its ceaseless movement and inexorable cycles. Timeless characters and an unreal bestiary evolve in a teeming textile décor.

Dumblebee

When four researcher-percussionists are struck by the moon, they get up to some funny games. Drum skins dance wildly and a triangle causes trouble! Will the mystery of the moon be solved, or will the groove lead to peace?

Opéranimaux

In the animal kingdom, two singers and an improvising pianist rediscover their childhood, and invite you to an operatic fantasy that will delight young and old alike!

Couleurs cuivres #3

Couleurs Cuivres #3 is the thundering, boisterous life of a brass quartet, with its outbursts, personalities and sulks, but also its solidarity, complicity and moments of quiet happiness, suddenly turned upside down by the arrival of a brilliant, unpredictable percussionist.

Peter and the Wolf... and jazz!

Anoriginal adaptation of Serge Prokofiev's fairy tale , Peter and the Wolf presents the history of jazz, improvisation and the instruments of this music through its evolution and its different genres, in the same way that Prokofiev presented the classical orchestra.

Come as you sing!

Venez comme vous chantez is made up of two amateur choirs who will perform alongside the Sotto Voce Choir at Le Châtelet: an indoor choir (from age 6) which will perform from the auditorium, allowing younger children to participate, and a stage choir (from age 8) which will perform on stage .
