As soon as you get home, you're on vacation again! Yes, from April 22 to May 9, 2023, Zone C, to which schools in Paris and the Ile-de-France are attached, is going on vacation. At the Cité des Sciences, there is no shortage of ideas for outings: exhibitions, activities, workshops, animations...
During these vacations, the Cité des Sciences has set up a special program, full of activities for children of all ages, from 2 years old. Many of them take place daily at the Cité des Enfants, whether in the 2-7 years old area or in the 5-12 years old area. Take part in a TV show about wildlife, discover how hearing works, explore the chemical secrets behind the dishes we miss in the kitchen, take a walk under the stars... There's plenty to keep you busy and educated, and you'll come away with a wealth of information and knowledge, which the Cité des Sciences' mediators will explain to you for all ages! Otherwise, several workshops (on biodiversity, microbes...) are on the program, with also demonstrations.
As far as exhibitions are concerned, several of them are accessible to children: we are thinking in particular of the latest one, which has just opened, Metamorphoses, or Cancers, which approaches the disease in an optimistic way (no tragic or depressing side for the youngest ones for example) and really educational, or Crowds, theinteractive exhibition which will make you an expert on crowd movements. For some of them, notably Crowds or Cancers, demonstrations are proposed on certain days of the vacations, just check the time slot on the website of the Cité des Sciences.
To celebrate the 459th anniversary of Galileo's birth, the Planetarium of the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie is organizing a unique event with shows, a karaoke, a DJ set and other activities with the Galileo party! If you still have some energy left, we don't need to introduce you to the Cité des Enfants, the playful place, perfect for the little ones, located inside the Cité des Sciences, which is aimed at toddlers from 2 to 7 years old, as well as older children, from 5 to 12 years old.
You'll have understood: for this Easter vacation 2023, a visit to the Cité des Sciences with the kids is a must!
