With the Easter holidays 2026, scheduled from April 18 to May 3 for students in Zone C (including the Paris academy), it's the perfect time to catch up on all the exhibitions opened this spring that you didn't have time to see! With the kids, we take advantage of the animations, workshops or guided tours tailored to their age to make a cultural outing that's also fun or creative for the whole family, like here, at the Musée d'Orsay.
First, the good news is that the museum is free for under 18s (and for under-26 EU residents) and a Child & Company rate lets two accompanying adults of a child under 18 enjoy a reduced price (€13 instead of €16). Then comes the second bit of good news: during holidays, the Musée d'Orsay runs Vacations at the Museum, during which the Hall of the museum is transformed to welcome families. There you'll find free activities for all ages all day from 10am: step into living tableaux on stage, twist a few paintings during a creative workshop, play a giant Goose Game inspired by works in the museum... Or, enjoy the play area and the library corner for quieter moments, with stories told every day by volunteers from the association Lire et Faire Lire, between 2:30pm and 4:30pm.
Right now, the Musée d'Orsay is hosting two standout exhibitions on the painter Auguste Renoir. That means you can choose between guided tours followed by a workshop tied to the temporary exhibitions (for children aged 6 to 8 or 9 to 12), or the family-friendly guided tours that offer a playful way to discover the Musée d'Orsay...
Enjoy your family vacation at the Musée d'Orsay!
