Created in 1986, the Cité des Sciences marks its 40th year of existence in 2026. Rather than going through a midlife crisis, the Cité invites the general public to help imagine and rethink the future of this cultural and scientific venue in Paris.
On the agenda: an immersive guided tour, workshops offered around seven different themes, a virtual reality experience, a photocall, and an interactive session with a robot... Not to mention the City’s Hollywood Boulevard, imagined especially for the occasion, where you can leave your mark like the stars!
Great news for those turning 40 this year: you can enter for free with the code CITE1986 (please bring proof at entry). The activities will be held at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2026. To access the event you’ll need to purchase an exhibition ticket: €15 full price, €12 reduced, €4 for children aged 2 to 5, and €12 for youths aged 6 to 25.
