Mission Earth Hour: WWF's free family event in Paris

On March 22, 2025, WWF is launching a new edition of Earth Hour. For the occasion, an event designed for families and children will also be held in several French cities, including Paris.

Earth Hour is a major event organized to turn off the lights in major cities for one hour every year, at a specific time, to raise awareness of environmental issues. In addition to this major mobilization, WWF is now offering workshops for families and children in several French cities, including Paris, on Saturday March 22, 2025.

So get together in several Paris parks: the Parc Floral, the Parc de Choisy, the Parc André Citroën, the Bois de Boulogne... To take part in the various Earth Hour activities. What's on the program? A number of activities are being organized to enable the general public to reconnect with nature and understand the role of ecosystems in our daily lives.

The Earth Hour 2025 Mission program:

  • Create your own natural masterpiece (creative activity)
  • In search of the 1st spring flowers (exploration mission to discover the flowers that bloom this season)
  • Open your ears (one hour of exploration)

To round off the day, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. all the lights will be switched off, in keeping with the Earth Hour initiative.
