Fête de la Science 2025: the program at Hangar Y (92)

Another Fête de la Science! Like every year at the same time, the Fête de la Science returns with a series of visits, workshops, experiments and exclusive encounters. It's an opportunity for young and old alike to open up to the different disciplines of science and learn more about French scientists and their work.

In Paris and Île-de-France, the program promises to be rich and varied, with events planned in museums, libraries and universities. If you live in Hauts-de-Seine, not far from Meudon, then head for Hangar Y.

Hangar Y is a 70-metre-long, 23-metre-high building featuring 3,500 m² of exhibition space and a large Eiffel-style nave, as well as a huge park with sculptures, a 3-hectare pool and entertainment and catering facilities. Throughout the year, Hangar Y welcomes visitors with exhibitions and immersive experiences.

This autumn, Hangar Y is also taking part in the Fête de la Science, which coincides with the Star's Up space festival. Join us on October 11 and 12, 2025 for lectures, film screenings, a children's show, workshops and other activities!

  On-stage highlights include: "Entre nous c'est physique" show about "Jurassic Park" and how dinosaurs influenced science-fiction creatures Signing session for the comic book "Les Guerres de Lucas", winner of the FNAC-FRANCE INTER prize, with Laurent Hopman and Renaud Roche. Lectures by Observatoire de Paris - PSL and CNRS CNES workshop
  Alongside the lectures, visitors can also enjoy a wide range of events and workshops: star gazing, water rocket launching workshop, podcast recording, theatrical improvisation, lightsaber initiation, toy photography workshop, cosplayer walkabout... and even become an actor in a virtual production studio to take to space! A curious and generous festival to explore Space from a unique angle.
