Contes et Histoires 2025: magical entertainment in the courtyard of wonders at the Château de Vincennes

Contes et Histoires(Tales and Stories) is a family event not to be missed during the holiday season. Created by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux,this major cultural event allows families, and especially children, to discover the richness of French heritage during the Christmas holidays. For the 2025 edition, the Château de Vincennes, located on the outskirts of Paris,awaits us for a walk we won't soon forget!

From December 20, 2025, to January 5, 2026, this medieval historical monument takes us on an unusual adventure to discover the stories and secrets of this castle. Built between the 14th and 17th centuries, this fortress is the largest royal castle still standing in France. This castle has stood the test of time, surviving regime changes, wars, natural disasters, and more. Today, this fortress bears witness toFrench history and is a place that houses the nation's memory.

During this new edition of Contes et Histoires (Tales and Stories), theChâteau de Vincennes web vites us to take part in an unusual activity, visiting and discovering the monument in a different way, while celebrating the end-of-year festivities:

• The courtyard of wonders!
  In December, let yourself be transported to the courtyard of wonders at the Château de Vincennes! For this new edition of Contes et Histoires (Tales and Stories), the Château de Vincennes is offering a rich program of tours, workshops, and, exclusively this year, the show Itinérance d'un roi (A King's Journey) staged by the ADL Productions company.
  From December 20, 2025, to January 5, 2026 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  Prices Adults: €14. Children and specific groups: €8
  Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  The meeting point for all activities is at the well, between the Sainte-Chapelle and the keep.
