For gardening enthusiasts and nature lovers, the Orgeval Floral Festival is a must-attend event in the Yvelines (78). Each year, the Brunetterie Park in Orgeval transforms for a weekend into a lush, green paradise, celebrating the art of gardening with the support of the Poissy Pincerais Lions Club and its partners. Mark your calendars for this 11th edition, set to take place on May 23 and 24, 2026. Plant lovers can look forward to exhibitors, workshops, talks, and a meaningful cause to support.
The true charm of the Floralies organized by the Lions Club lies in their unique blend of botanical passion and human commitment. Since their debut in 2016, these events have been entirely driven by volunteers, with all proceeds going directly to pediatric cancer research. Over 5,000 euros in donations have already been raised through past editions. Visitors aren't just there to pick up a rose or a climbing plant—they're also contributing, often without realizing it, to a cause far greater than themselves.
The setting itself almost speaks for itself. The Brunetterie Park, with its 5 hectares of greenery in Orgeval, provides an ideal backdrop for leisurely strolling among the booths. Each year, over 45 professional exhibitors showcase an impressive array of the plant world: French nurseries and producers, horticulturists, rose growers, but also landscapers, artisans, and manufacturers of garden furniture and decorative objects. Visitors can encounter a diverse selection of ornamental trees, heritage and modern roses, perennials, grasses, Citrus fruits, climbing plants, and many other seasonal greenery—offering plenty of ideas to transform a patch of land into a little piece of paradise.
These two days also offer the perfect opportunity to connect directly with industry professionals, gather practical advice for garden design, and attend lectures and workshops. There are activities tailored for both children and adults, making it a family-friendly outing for the Ascension weekend. We're heading to Orgeval, about a thirty-minute drive west of Paris, accessible via the A13 motorway or Poissy train station.
Since bouncing back after the pandemic in 2022, the event has regained its momentum, drawing over 3,500 visitors, even amid unpredictable weather that year. The Lions Club International brings together three local chapters: Poissy Pincerais, Orgeval-Verneuil-Vernouillet, and Maule-Epône-Vallée de la Mauldre. In short, the entire community is rallying around a shared passion for plants and philanthropy.
The Orgeval Floralies 2026 are scheduled to take place on May 23 and 24, 2026 at the Brunetterie Park in Orgeval (78630). Entry price was set at €3 in previous editions. For the full program and a list of exhibitors, visit the official event website.
