The major Parisian event dedicated to urban gardening and greening the city will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026 with a special edition focused on tangible action. Jardins, Jardin is once again taking over the grounds of the Villa Windsor, nestled in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne in the 16th arrondissement, from Thursday, May 28 to Sunday, May 31, 2026. An exclusive media and professional preview will be held on Wednesday, May 27. A lively showcase of nature for visitors of all ages, featuring landscape designs, talks, workshops, and biodiversity initiatives.
This milestone edition marks a real turning point. No longer just about drawing inspiration: in 2026, Jardins, Jardin will transform into a true open-air campus, where the sciences of life meet citizens’ practices. The festival brings together landscape architects, researchers, urban planners, green industry professionals, and local authorities around a shared goal: turning biodiversity conservation into a tangible project for the city. Stéphane Marie, the garden show host and official ambassador of this 20th anniversary, sums up the spirit of the event perfectly: “A garden is the art of mastery... and today, it’s about learning to embrace the excess. Not fearing to support and make space for the plant world.”
One of the highlights of this year's edition is BioGée, a federation bringing together scientific institutions, academic bodies, and learned societies, including the National Museum of Natural History — joining the festival as an official partner. The organization will feature an inspiring 100 m² garden dedicated to best practices for biodiversity, created in collaboration with landscape architect Pierre-Alexandre Risser, along with a full schedule of talks and activities.

Another highlight of this year's event was the participation of the International Biodiversity & Real Estate Council (CIBI), marking a significant step forward in the conversation between biodiversity and construction. CIBI officially launched the CIBI Award - Biodiversity in Urban Gardens, set to become an annual feature starting in 2026, and introduced its new BiodiverCity Construction framework to help advance industry practices. According to Olivia Conil Lacoste, CIBI's president: « Urban gardens are more than just green spaces; they are strategic tools to reconnect nature, city life, and human activity. »
Staying true to its core identity, Jardins, Jardin also emphasizes fun and community for all visitors. On the culinary side, you can enjoy treats from Maison Félicien at the Orangerie, a food truck, or dine at Villa Amelia with its “Garden Flavors.” For workshops, attendees can explore cyanotypes, embroidery, and naturalistic drawing, not to mention the Hortum in Bibliotheca bookstore for the curious. And of course, the flower, plant, and garden art market continues to be a highlight. VALHOR and l'Unep are again central to the organization, working alongside BioGée to ensure the festival is firmly rooted in a practical, action-oriented approach.
Getting there is simple: you can take Line 1 of the metro to either Sablons or Pont de Neuilly stations, or hop off at Puteaux station (lines L or U). There's also a bus connection from Place de l'Étoile to the Villa Windsor Park, making it easy to reach the fair from the center of Paris. Admission fees apply for adults (€15 per day), free entry for visitors under 12 and job seekers, and €7.50 for those aged 12-18. All the details and tickets are available at jardinsjardin.com.
In short, whether you're a gardening enthusiast, a plant professional, or simply looking for a beautiful green escape in Paris, this 20th edition has everything you need to inspire you to embrace nature.
