The Asian Pop Culture Festival 2026 takes over Paris Montreuil Expo in Montreuil on May 30–31, 2026. This festival dedicated to Asian cultures brings together pop culture, traditions, food, cosplay, K-pop, karaoke, martial arts, exhibitors and family-friendly activities, just a stone’s throw from Paris and the 20th arrondissement.
Accessible via the Line 9 metro, at the Robespierre station, the event invites visitors to discover several realms of contemporary and traditional Asia. A standout outing if you’re looking for an Asian festival near Paris, a family outing, or a weekend rendezvous centered on Asian pop culture during May 30–31.
The Asian Pop Culture Festival targets both families and enthusiasts of manga, cosplay, K-pop, street food, crafts, travel, or Asian cultures. On site, visitors will be able to browse nearly a hundred exhibitors and explore dedicated spaces for food, beauty and well-being, fashion, jewelry, accessories, tourism, art, and music, as well as a Squid Game-inspired zone.
The admission ticket is priced at €10, which includes a raffle with a top prize: a manga collector’s figure valued at around €600. For those who don’t get lucky, there’s Bingo Loco, with several prizes to be won.
More than just a salon, the Asian Pop Culture Festival presents itself as a gathering dedicated to Asian cultures, blending traditional heritage with contemporary creativity. The festival highlights numerous Asian countries and influences, notably China, Japan, South Korea, Cambodia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Laos.
Visitors will discover traditional crafts, pop-culture-inspired creations, stalls serving Asian cuisine, interactive activities, performances, meet-and-greet moments, and spaces designed to reveal the diverse facets of today’s Asia.
A lineup of marquee moments is planned for the weekend, featuring musical performances, contests, live acts, and festive gatherings.
The festival brings together in one place several Asia-related worlds: gastronomy, pop culture, cosplay, karaoke, K-pop, crafts, fashion, travel and traditions. It’s an outing designed for those who want to discover Asian cultures without leaving the Paris region, but also for enthusiasts already familiar with these realms.
With its two-day lineup, its exhibitors, its activities, and easy Metro access from Paris, the Asian Pop Culture Festival easily fits into a weekend outing, especially for families, groups of friends, or culture festival enthusiasts.
