The French Urology Association (AFU) launches the first edition of Novemb’Run, a public charity running event designed to raise awareness of urological conditions and promote men’s health.
Prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, male infertility—these topics are still hard to discuss, yet crucial to highlight.
Through this charitable, unifying event, the AFU aims to break taboos and rally the public around prevention and early detection.
This 100% charity race also offers a direct opportunity to support urology research. Funds raised will back innovative projects benefiting patients and the improvement of care.
On the program: 5 km and 10 km courses accessible to everyone, along the iconic Avenue Foch, with a detour through the Bois de Boulogne and a spectacular finish opposite the Arc de Triomphe! In a festive, athletic, family-friendly atmosphere, participants can run for this major public health cause.
A flagship event of “Movember for Men,” the month dedicated to raising awareness of men’s health, Novemb’Run is set to become a must-attend autumn moment in Paris.
“We know many men delay seeking help. Shyness, embarrassment, or the belief that it’s nothing serious—all too common. Novemb’Run offers a different message: your health matters, your symptoms matter, and there’s no reason to wait to talk to a doctor. If this race nudges some men to see a physician or urologist sooner, it will have fulfilled its purpose.”
Dr. Benjamin PRADÈRE, Member of the AFU Board and member of the Novemb’Run organizing committee.
