Paris and the Île-de-France region are brimming with family-friendly running events and courses suitable for seasoned athletes alike! In the Val-de-Marne, the town of Maisons-Alfort and its athletics club are organizing La Maisonnaise, scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026. The event will feature three races: a half-marathon, a 10 km, and a fun, family-friendly race, with part of the proceeds donated to CAMI Sport & Cancer.
If you’re not quite ready to part with your sneakers just yet, you might try the popular race — a 1.7 km loop that can be completed once, twice, or three times, whether you prefer running or walking. Participants are warmly encouraged to dress up in costumes with the whole family for a fun, festive event. However, if you're looking for a real challenge, go for the 21 km or 10 km distances, starting from Avenue du Général Leclerc, between the town center and the banks of the Marne River.
What a fantastic spring race!
