To celebrate a century and a half of existence, the Jacquemart-André Museum is hosting a Belle Époque masquerade ball—an immersive evening modeled on the grand receptions of high society in the 19th century—on Saturday, November 14, 2026.

To mark the 150th anniversary of the inauguration of the private townhouse, the Musée Jacquemart-André invites you to join an immersive evening with a grand bal costumé et un cocktail dinatoire animé, on the Saturday, November 14, 2026. As the night unfolds, step back into the heart of the Belle Epoque, for a journey through the major moments in the life of Édouard André and Nélie Jacquemart.

The evening, slated from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., promises more than a few surprises! Nélie Jacquemart, who painted the portrait of Édouard André in 1872 before marrying him in 1881, will be among the guests, so you’ll have to spot her in the crowd as you follow a series of animations designed to reveal the site’s secrets and its behind‑the‑scenes. To remain discreet and blend in, attendees are strongly urged to dress in period costume from 1876 to 1912, in order to take part in a re-enactment.

In the aura of a prestigious 19th‑century evening, the dinner, cocktail, and a welcome glass of champagne are included in the admission ticket, which is priced at 250 euros per person. By contrast, other drinks are charged separately. After dinner, the dance floor opens at 11 p.m. Furthermore, there will be no cloakroom to change inside the museum; you are required to arrive in proper attire at the museum.

An evening aimed at guests who already own a period costume or are willing to rent one, since the ticket price is steep and dressing the part comes with an extra charge.
