U2: Here are the European dates for the 2027 world tour

After revealing the first concerts on its new world tour, “Carnaval De Luz Presents: The Greatest Show On Earth,” U2 has made another announcement. On October 29, the Irish band, led by Bono, finally unveiled the European dates for its upcoming world tour. Check out the schedule of U2 concerts planned across Great Britain and Europe in 2027.

On October 15, U2 fans were overjoyed. As well as unveiling the video for the single "The Greatest Show On Earth", directed by Anton Corbijn, the Irish band revealed the first dates of its new world tour, confirming its much-anticipated return to stadiums in 2027. Titled "Carnaval De Luz Presents: The Greatest Show On Earth", the long-awaited tour will kick off on February 23, 2027, in Mexico City, and then head to São Paulo and Buenos Aires.

Since then, European fans had been growing impatient, and numerous rumors had been circulating. On Monday, October 26, mysterious images were captured at Milano Centrale station in Italy and shared on social media. They revealed the date Thursday, October 29, 2026, along with visual elements associated with U2, including MacPhisto’s hat spinning in front of a red curtain. On Wednesday, October 28, the band itself had shared the date October 29 in a story.

This Thursday, U2 officially announced the dates for the European leg of its upcoming world tour. What’s in store? Twelve concerts are currently planned, running from late April to early July 2027. The band will kick off the tour on April 26 in Amsterdam. Bono and the band will then visit Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, London, Berlin and Milan. Good news for French fans: U2 will stop at the Stade de France for two shows announced for May 5 and 8, 2027.

As a reminder, this new U2 tour will coincide with the release of the band’s new album, “Carnaval De Luz,” due out on November 13, 2026. The new album will feature 12 tracks, including “Torn,” the last recording by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton.

U2: when will ticket sales open for the European dates?

Given the band’s popularity and U2’s long absence from Europe, a great many fans are likely to be eager to get their hands on the coveted tickets. So when will the ticket sales open? Subscribers to the u2.com website will be the first to access the ticket sales, with a presale opening on November 2 at 10 a.m. local time for members of the “The Feedback” group, followed by November 3 at 10 a.m. local time for those in the “The Hype” group.

U2 has announced another presale, available from November 4 at 10 a.m. local time. But to get access, you must pre-order the band's new album, “Carnaval De Luz,” from the official U2 store (UK and European stores only) by Friday, October 30 at 12 p.m.

Then mark your calendars for November 5 at 10 a.m. for the artist presale, which is open to everyone. The general sale is scheduled for November 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
