The 2026 Science Festival is lining up workshops, experiments, and activities for families across Paris and Île-de-France, from October 2 to 12. Here are ten outings to spark kids’ curiosity while they have fun.

Paris is an exciting city for children: from kid-friendly museums to workshops, cafés, playgrounds and parks... There's no way to get bored! And that's without counting the ephemeral events that give us even more options for entertaining our little elves.

October is packed with events, from Halloween and Monument Jeu d'Enfant to the Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show... But above all, there’s one big, special date you won’t want to miss. From October 2 to 12, 2026, the Fête de la Science lands in Paris and Île-de-France, bringing a wealth of free activities, meets, games, and hands-on experiences to enjoy.

The Fête de la Science is a nationwide event designed to interest the general public in a wide range of scientific disciplines, as well as showcasing researchers and their work. Biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, new technologies, medicine, archaeology: there's something to delight all curious minds, whatever their age!
