Nigloland: reopening of the theme park and new features for 2025, the Niglo Forest

Over 40 attractions, a world of fun for all the family, shows, restaurants and unforgettable memories... Welcome to Nigloland, the amusement park located near Troyes, in the Aube region (10). This 45-hectare park is reopening its doors for a new season of fun and laughter, from April 5 to November 11, 2025.

Last year, the park delighted visitors with its new attraction:"L'Envol des papillons" ("Butterflies take flight"), which takes you on a magical journey through the Nigloland skies.

For even more magic, a whole area of the park was transformed to accommodate this new attraction in a zone dedicated to families and children, called Niglo's Forest. This year, this new land will delight families with an immersive journey that will take you to meet the park's mascots. Push open the door to the warm refuge of Niglo, the adorable hedgehog, and his faithful companion Niglotte. As you visit, immerse yourself in their daily lives: clothes carefully hung up, attraction keys preciously arranged, a convivial kitchen and a living room where every object whispers a fragment of their story.

Nigloland is first and foremost a family affair: the Gelis-Caron family has been perpetuating the circus and funfair tradition for six generations. From its beginnings in the circus arts in 1838 with Frédéric Caron, circus director and trapeze artist, and his brother Philippe Caron, clown, the family has never left the entertainment business.

As early as 1925, they were on the roads of France, running some of the country's finest funfairs, before settling down in 1987 when brothers Philippe and Patrice Gelis founded Nigloland on family land. A family tradition with no end in sight, as demonstrated by the arrival of Rodolphe, Philippe's son, and Valentine, Patrice's daughter, at the helm of the park in early 2017.

Today, with over forty attractions, including 12 thrills and 27 accessible to children under 1 metre tall, eight restaurants and the 4* Hotel des Pirates, Nigloland was voted second best amusement park in Europe at the European Star Awards in 2024.

Nigloland welcomes you to a 45-hectare site in the heart of the Orient Forest in the Aube département and invites you to explore four themed villages:

• Le Village Merveilleux with 16 attractions
• The Canadian Village with 8 attractions
• The Swiss Village with 7 attractions
• The Rock'n'Roll Village with 8 attractions

In 2021, Nigloland will be welcoming a new, breathtaking attraction: Krampus Expedition, an aquatic roller coaster unique in Europe, installed in the heart of the Swiss Village near Alpina Blitz. The attraction covers 9,000m², making it the biggest in the park! Meet the Krampus, a mythical creature of the Alps. Aboard your boat, explore the world of wild rivers, filled with canyons and incredible waterfalls, to reach the cave that shelters this mysterious beast. Although this roller coaster is extremely impressive, it is still accessible to the very young, as children over 1.10 m tall can ride it.
