The Chantilly estate is opening its gardens to walkers this winter, so you can spend some lovely days among the trees and groves. The château is even offering a special rate of six euros, so you can spend a good time in the grounds at a low price.
Of course, strolling among the plants and gardens laid out by the famous gardener Le Nôtre is already very pleasant. But the Chantilly estate promises much more than that! On the program: Chantilly cream demonstrations, a small gourmet market where you can sample crêpes, waffles, honeys and gingerbread (we're already salivating), rental of electric buggies, bicycles, electric scooters and rosalies (pedal carts) and the discovery of Bennett's wallabies.
We're also delighted to see the exceptional decorations and illuminations originally planned for the Christmas celebrations. All these events have had to be cancelled due to the health situation, but you can still enjoy a bit of them on these outings with family and friends.
We look forward to returning to the château overlooking the park, to admire its furnished and decorated rooms, and the exhibitions awaiting visitors' return. In the meantime, we can always console ourselves with the online activities offered by the estate.
