Situé en bord de Seine, au pied de la tour Eiffel, le musée du quai Branly sera dédié aux Arts et Civilisations d’Afrique, d’Asie, d’Océanie et des Amériques.

Au total plus de 3 500 œuvres de ce patrimoine universel y seront exposées de façon permanente.
Ouvert au printemps 2006, la particularité de ce musée du XXIème siècle résidera aussi bien dans son projet mêlant coopération culturelle et scientifique que dans son architecture imaginée par Jean Nouvel.
