Another themed evening is coming up at the Quai Branly Museum ! Following nights dedicated to Japan, Mexico, Bollywood and the Amazon, the focus this time is the “Africa Fashion” evening. Set within the framework of the exhibition Africa Fashion, on view until July 12, this event will showcase the creativity of the African continent through fashion, art and music.
On Friday, April 24, 2026, this Africa Fashion evening invites visitors to explore the artistic scenes of Abidjan, Dakar, and Johannesburg, all wrapped in "a festive and immersive atmosphere", according to organizers. From 8 p.m., guests can look forward to a creative salon and a corner devoted to the world of wax, plus a dance-performance, a concert by Léonie, a DJ set by Asna, and a screening of the film "Black Dandy" by Ariel Wizman.
There will also be “flash” tours of the exhibition "Africa Fashion". You’ll also find throughout the evening a photobooth to step into a recreated photo-studio set by Cheetah and Aïssé N'Diaye, a pop-up bar, and a special playlist. Another good piece of news: this evening "Africa Fashion" at the Quai Branly Museum is free to attend, but subject to availability. So a tip: don’t be late.
