OUF: Open Loop and After Loop at Rosa Bonheur to the East, in the Bois de Vincennes

Fancy pairing a workout with music and community impact for a day in the Bois de Vincennes? On Saturday, September 5, 2026, the association Les Potes Âgé.e.s de Rosa Bonheur presents OUF – On Unit nos Forces, a solidarity event at Rosa Bonheur à l’Est, hosted at the Chalet de la Porte Jaune in Paris’s 12th arrondissement. From morning to night, the day unfolds in two acts: Open Loop, a collective challenge to walk or run, followed by After Loop, an evening of performances, a choir, and DJ sets. Proceeds go to support the association’s initiatives.

Open Loop: a 2-km loop around Minimes Lake

From 10 a.m., Open Loop kicks off around the Lake des Minimes. The course forms a 2 km loop, starting and finishing in the village set near Rosa Bonheur Porte Jaune. Participants can walk or jog, then choose to head out for another lap based on the challenge they pick.

The goal is collective: to tally the kilometres traveled in order to symbolically cover the 688 km that separate Paris from Aigues-Mortes. This distance echoes the two territories where the association is currently active in its participatory housing projects for seniors.

• Open Loop Court at €20: 4, 8 or 12 km walking, or 10 km running;
• Open Loop Long at €30: 20 km or more, walking or running;
• Pass journée Court at €30: Open Loop Court plus access to the After Loop;
• Pass journée Long at €40: Open Loop Long plus access to the After Loop.

After Loop: performances and DJ sets at Rosa Bonheur in the East

From 6:30 PM, the day continues with After Loop at the Grand Belvédère of Rosa Bonheur in the East. This second act turns the sports gathering into a cultural and musical evening, featuring the arrival of participants, an awards ceremony, and a presentation of the association’s activities.

The announced lineup brings together several proposals:

Yvette Neliaz will also be on hand to discuss her work Archéologie du Présent, which focuses in particular on images of Paris’s cultural life from the late 1990s into the 2000s. The After Loop is offered at €15 when booked separately, and the evening runs until 1 a.m..

An event to support Rosa Bonheur’s Senior Friends

OUF is set up to help fund the projects of the Potes Âgé.e.s de Rosa Bonheur. Founded in July 2020 and recognized as being of public interest since February 2026, the association backs initiatives for participatory, inclusive, and intergenerational living spaces for seniors, built on a collective, non-profit approach.

The choice of the 688 kilometers to be walked together during Open Loop directly highlights the two regions where the association is currently concentrating its efforts: Paris and its inner suburbs, and the Aigues-Mortes area in the Camargue.

For the inaugural edition of OUF, the gathering is set to take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the Rosa Bonheur à l’Est, Chalet de la Porte Jaune, Avenue de Nogent, 75012 Paris. Depending on interest and the level of activity you’re after, you can join the athletic challenge, extend the day into the evening, or head straight to the After Loop.
