As every year at the same time, the Swedish Institute takes part in Paris Design Week. The program? 10 days of festival, featuring new concept stores, storefront displays, designer encounters, festive events, but also exhibitions and installations.
After spotlighting five Scandinavian artists specializing in glass art last year, the Swedish Institute now turns its attention to the shared sense of order—the common vision of organization, rules, and the social harmony upheld by a group. Through this new installation, entitled “Tout est en ordre,” the Scandinavian cultural center in the Marais neighborhood of Paris aims to reveal how these norms shape bodies, behaviors, and imaginations.
From September 2 to October 4, 2026, the Swedish Institute will showcase a collection of silhouettes, sculptures, sounds, and images, “staging familiar figures that never quite fit in,” it is announced.
For the occasion, visitors will be able to discover garments from across generations of designers, including Per Götesson, and works by renowned designer-artists such as Anton Alvarez and Anna Uddenberg. The exhibition will fuse art and fashion, but here art will disrupt fashion, block silhouettes and introduce frictions.
Rendez-vous donc du 2 septembre au 4 octobre 2026 pour découvrir le résultat et cette nouvelle exposition gratuite de l’Institut suédois, proposée dans le cadre de la Paris Design Week.
