Homer Lobster: luxury street food the American way in Paris

Let’s stop thinking that street food is something cheap.

You may have seen it at Communion or Food Market: Homer Lobster opens its very first store at the POD (Parisian Omnivore District) in the courtyard of BHV Homme! If you’re not one of the lucky ones to have seen it, here is what it is!

First things first, what is a lobster roll? It’s simply a sandwich coming straight from the street of New England made of a toasted brioche bread, lobster and a chives mayonnaise (€17). Street food passionate Moïse comes from the luxury world and fell in love with this gastronomic fast-food and decided to share it with us. Thanks to his various experiences in Parisian and Londoner palaces, he even thought up his own recipe he called “Connecticut” made of lemon butter mixed with secret herbs (€17).

The whole is served with Wakame salad (a salad made of Japanese seaweed), wasabi chips (and homemade!) or truffle chips (made by an artisan). To taste it, ask the PBJ (Peanut Butter Jelly Sandwich): the famous American snack revisited by Moïse to please European taste buds (€5).
