Many fell in love with Moïse Sfez's famous lobster roll at the Parisian Omnivore District, the first French food court, located in the courtyard of BHV Marais L'Homme.
Since then, many have been eagerly awaiting the opening of a permanent location in the capital. That wait is now over, asHomer Lobster, located at 21 Rue Rambuteau in the 4th arrondissement, opened its doors in early February 2018.
With the opening of his first restaurant entirely dedicated to lobster rolls, Moïse Sfez intends to tantalize the taste buds of many Parisians who love chic and gourmet street food.
But what exactly is a lobster roll? It's a blue lobster sandwich that has been a huge hit across the Atlantic. After falling in love with the concept eight years ago, Moïsedecided to bring this famous lobster roll to France, but with a French twist: Breton lobster and French bread!
At Homer Lobster, customers can enjoy two iconic recipes: the "classic," with chopped lobster mixed with homemade lemon mayonnaise and chives, and the "Connecticut," already a bestseller, in which the lobster is slightly warmed and seasoned with lemon butter and a secret blend of herbs. The latter lobster roll is the owner's favorite, and it has become ours too! A real treat!
Homer Lobster has also recently innovated with a new recipe: the "Avocado" Lobster Roll, made with lobster, guacamole, lime, andOld Bay seasoning. Once again, it's a real treat for the taste buds!
Also on the menu? Alobster grilled cheesesandwich with aged Dutch cheddar, acrab roll, and a seaweed salad with lobster.
As for sides, Homer Lobster offers excellenthomemade truffle or wasabichips, or a wakame salad.
For those with a sweet tooth, try a homemadeKinder cookie, a Nutella brioche, or a peanut butter and jam sandwich.
What's next? Moïse Sfez has no shortage of ideas for new lobster roll recipes and plans to open more Homer Lobster restaurants, particularly in shopping centers and on the other side of the river, in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood!
In the meantime, head to Rue Rambuteau to sample Moïse Sfez's excellentlobster rolls at Homer Lobster!
