July 14 is a major occasion for people to come together across France each year. Festivities are held throughout the country, with street entertainment, concerts, large-scale picnics, popular dances and shows for all ages.
As night falls, the fireworks take over, lighting up the cities and providing a much-anticipated finale that brings residents and visitors together in a festive, welcoming atmosphere. As part of Bastille Day, the city of Montrouge invites you, as usual, to its traditional fireworks display.
This year, the fireworks display is not to be missed, but note that it won’t take place on the day itself; it will be held the day before, on July 13, 2026, with a great program.
From 7 p.m. on Bastille Day, the Allées Jean Jaurès are transformed into a vast dance floor. Beneath the lanterns, to the sound of the DJ, everyone is invited to show off a few dance moves. The evening reaches its climax with a fireworks display, lighting up the sky in a thousand colors at around 11 p.m.
Events on the outskirts of Paris not to be missed. Happy Bastille Day 2026, everyone!
