July 14th is a very special day in France, as it's the Fête Nationale. A key date that refers in particular to the storming of the Bastille, a historic event linked to the French Revolution.
Today, July 14 is paced by traditional celebrations including the firefighters' balls, fireworks (in Paris, launched from the Tour Eiffel !), as well as the famous défilé militaire that sweeps down the Champs-Élysées. A string of high moments and iconic images for the French, and for the tourists passing through.
The department of Seine-Saint-Denis (93) is no exception to the rule. Many towns are marking the 2026 National Day with a festive, welcoming program. On the doorstep of Paris, the town of Pantin is also joining the celebrations, with activities within a short metro ride.
On the program for this fête nationale pantinoise, the usual musts you’d expect: a feu d'artifice, a bal populaire for kids and adults alike, and right from the early evening, a shared and convivial pique-nique for the whole family!
This year, Bastille Day celebrations return to Place de la Pointe à Pantin. The festivities are announced: an open-air dance party, a DJ set, a pyrotechnic show and fireworks for a magical and convivial evening.
