The Marché de Noël de Voisins-le-Bretonneux is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the festive spirit of the 78 region. Located in the heart of the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines conurbation, just a stone's throw from Guyancourt and Montigny-le-Bretonneux, this traditional market transforms the Centre Sportif Les Pyramides into a veritable Christmas village for the duration of the weekend. Organized by the Centre socio-culturel Alfred-De-Vigny in partnership with the town of Voisins-le-Bretonneux, this year's event celebrates its 41st edition, proof of its deep roots in local life.

As soon as you enter Schenefeld's Mail gymnasium, you find yourself immersed in a warm atmosphere that smells of cinnamon and mulled wine. Around a hundred exhibitors await us with their carefully selected handcrafted creations. You'll find unique jewelry, handmade Christmas decorations, trendy accessories and all kinds of creative objects that are out of the ordinary. It's the perfect opportunity to unearth original gifts while supporting local crafts and designers.

The gourmet side is not left out, with a fine selection of local products. Lovers of good things will be tempted by carefully selected wines, fine chocolates and specialities from near and far. The Christmas refreshment bar offers something to warm you up with comforting mulled wine, crispy waffles, a generous tartiflette, homemade cookies and other sweet treats that make you want to linger. We particularly appreciate the friendly atmosphere, where you can stroll between the stalls without hurrying.

Activities punctuate the weekend and create a real family buzz. Santa Claus will be present to delight children, who can have their photo taken with him and entrust him with their wishes. A special letterbox will be available, with paper and envelopes for writing to Santa. The musical ambience is provided by guest choirs performing Christmas carols and mini-concerts throughout the two days. These musical moments add a magical touch to the market's already festive atmosphere.

In terms of activities, creative workshops enable children and parents to share a moment of complicity as a family. These supervised activities offer the opportunity to create together and leave with a homemade souvenir. Sunday's special children's tombola offers the chance to win board games and other fun gifts. Proceeds from the tombola will go towards financing a youth trip planned for April 2026, which makes taking part all the more worthwhile.

The official inauguration of the market will take place on Saturday December 13 at noon, in the presence of local personalities. It's a special occasion to celebrate a tradition that has been going on for over 40 years in the commune.
