Winter is well underway, and the only comfort during this cold spell is raclette and fondue! Lovers of melted cheesewill be in heaven atMonsieur Aristide, on the covered and heated terrace of the hotel nestled in the heart of Montmartre, starting November 20, 2025.
Until next February, this mountain chalet offers traditional or vegetarian raclettesand Savoie wines in a warm and friendly atmosphere, Tuesday through Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
In addition to the classic raclette, which is also available without pork, there is a vegetarian version to satisfy all tastes and cravings! Expect to pay €39 per person for raclette, whichever you choose! For those who prefer more traditional dishes, the restaurant offers a bistro menuthroughout the season, featuring small plates to share. Raclette from Savoie, smoked cheese, raw milk Morbier, Serrano ham, Corsican coppa—now that's enough to whet your appetite!
To find this winter chalet, simply climb up to Montmartre, not far from Rue Lepic, and enter this hotel and its small restaurant. But the raclette party doesn't take place inside; you have to go a little further, under a covered terrace decorated for Christmas with pretty garlands, a beautiful Christmas tree, and even a nutcracker, for an atmosphere that is both rustic and festive. We love it!
Although the heating is obviously turned on for you and blankets are available, it is still a little chilly, so don't forget to bring a sweater to keep warm!
Once comfortably seated, we enjoyed our cheese, with a slight preference for the smoked raclette, excellent charcuterie, well-cooked potatoes, a plate of vegetables if you choose the vegetarian option, caramel-flavored onions, and refreshing lamb's lettuce after these slightly fatty foods, accompanied by a glass of white wine (or mulled wine, if you prefer!).
And for dessert, enjoy chocolate mousse, cheesecake, or French toast, if you still have room! We opted for the lemon and thyme cheesecake, with its sweet speculoos base, a light and fragrant end to the meal. However, we can't guarantee that you'll be able to climb the steps of Montmartre afterwards!
